Kpler has significantly upgraded its Refineries product with two major enhancements: crude grades and dirty feedstock tracking.
Crude Grades Feature:
- Users can now view specific crude grades processed by each refinery.
- Search and split results by crude grade for targeted analysis.
- Improved refinery modeling accuracy:
• Each crude grade yields unique proportions of intermediate products out of the CDU.
• Results in more precise estimates of refined product output.
Other Feedstock Tab:
- New dedicated page for comprehensive feedstock insights.
- Tracks consumption and imports of:
• High Sulfur Fuel Oil (HSFO)
• Straight Run Fuel Oil (SRFO)
• Vacuum Gas Oil (VGO)
- Enables users to monitor feedstock usage patterns for individual refineries.
These enhancements provide greater transparency into refinery operations. Users can now access a more granular view of refinery inputs, leading to improved market analysis capabilities.
