The Voyage calculator now allows you to save and share your voyage calculations, making it faster and easier to work with routes you use regularly. With this feature, you can store up to 20 voyage calculations, access them instantly, and collaborate with your team members.
This feature is available exclusively to Kpler Chartering users.
Saving your first voyage calculation
Complete your voyage calculation as usual in the Voyage Calculator
Look for the new sidebar on your screen
Click the Save button to store your calculation
Give your voyage a meaningful name (you can rename it later)
Choose your privacy settings:
Private: Only you can view and access this calculation
Share with team: All members of your organization can view this calculation
Updating your saved voyage
Once you've saved a voyage, any changes you make to the voyage terms will trigger an automatic save prompt. This ensures you never lose your updates and always have the most current version of your calculations.
Managing your saved voyages
Accessing saved voyages
Your saved voyages appear in the sidebar, giving you quick access to recalculate voyage economics for your main routes without starting from scratch each time. Simply click on any saved voyage to load it instantly.
Renaming voyages
Find the voyage you want to rename in the sidebar
Click on the voyage name or select the rename option
Enter the new name
Your changes are saved automatically
Searching for voyages
If you have multiple voyages saved, use the search function in the sidebar to quickly find the specific voyage you're looking for. Simply type keywords related to your voyage name or route.
Sharing with colleagues
You can share any saved voyage with team members in your organization:
Open the voyage you want to share
Change the privacy setting from Private to Share with team
Your colleagues will now be able to view and access this calculation
You can switch between private and shared settings at any time.

Stay organized: Use a naming convention (e.g., "Route-Date" or "Port1-Port2-VesselType") to make searching easier
