We're excited to announce the latest additions to the Kpler Risk & Compliance solution.

Port State Control Data: Access detailed port state control (PSC) information where ships are inspected for compliance with international regulations. Review recent inspection details, key detention information, details on the duration and specific reasons for vessel bans impacting operations. Categorise vessels by risk based on detentions and bans with regular updates to ensure accuracy.

High risk AIS gaps Identify and analyse AIS gaps to detect potential security and compliance issues. An AIS gap is detected if no signal is received for over 20 hours. Assess coverage to determine if the gap is due to network issues or deliberate disabling, marking it as low or high risk. Access detailed information on high-risk AIS gaps including date, location, and draught change.

High risk STS transfers Monitor ship-to-ship transfers for potential sanction risks using AIS data and other market sources. High-risk transfers involve sanctioned vessels, transferring sanctioned cargo, or having sanctioned owners. Clearly marked risks provide easy reference.

High risk Port calls Identify port calls to sanctioned countries such as Iran and North Korea. Access detailed information on each high-risk event including date, time, port, country, and cargo volume for thorough analysis and risk management.

High risk AIS spoofing: Detect intentional AIS (Automatic Identification System) transmission falsification based on a multi-step methodology. Access a complete report with AIS spoofing events and their occurrence dates.

Compliance Workspace Access details on vessels related to sanctions in a centralized space. View vessels currently sanctioned, carrying sanctioned cargo, with sanctioned owners, or flying sanctioned flags. Access the workspace via the "Compliance" tab and select the risk type from the dropdown menu for specific details.

The solution is also now available through the API.
