To find the description for each field on Excel add-in and API v1, please refer to the API v1 documentation and follow these 3 simple steps below.
Step 1:
On the relevant documentation for the chosen commodity, select the endpoint for which you require the column descriptions. On the right hand side of the screen will be a screen showing an example query for the endpoint; click the dropdown on the far right and select: Columns id, name, description and deprecation status.
Step 2:
On the “Example response” section, click the “See More” button.
Step 3:
From this screen you can read all of the descriptions for the columns for that endpoint or copy and paste them somewhere to refer back to them later.
