Expanded Ownership View
Previously, the Compliance tab displayed only sanctioned entities linked to a vessel. Now, the full history of a vessel’s ownership and management structure is available, across six key roles:
Beneficial Owner
Registered Owner
Technical Manager
ISM Manager
Third-Party Operator
Commercial Manager
Each relationship is shown with:
Company name
Affiliation type (role)
Start and end dates of the relationship
Sanction Status Indicators
Green: Indicates a non-sanctioned company
Red: Indicates a sanctioned company, along with the sanctioning authority
This visual layer ensures quick scanning and prioritization.
Structured Results for Clarity
Ownership entities are:
Grouped by role type (e.g. all Beneficial Owners together)
Ordered by active affiliations (start date only) followed by historical affiliations (start and end dates)
This hierarchy helps users track how ownership evolved over time.
Integration with Kpler API
This ownership structure is available via Kpler’s public API endpoints, making it easy for users to export, automate, or embed ownership data into internal compliance systems.
