Introduction

We are excited to announce that our upcoming early-May data update will introduce significant enhancements for refined products supply & demand. These improvements are designed to expand your analytical capabilities and provide more detailed insights into a broader range of countries.

What's New?

Here’s a summary of the key updates that you can look forward to:

  1. Expanded Country-Level Insights
Enhanced Coverage: We are adding individual balances for 50 additional countries. This expansion will allow you to perform more detailed regional analyses and gain deeper insights into new markets.

  2. Improved Data Table Functionality
Enhanced Viewing Options: When multiple products are selected, the data table now provides the flexibility to view aggregate sums for all selected products as well as individual per-product details. This dual-view functionality allows for a more precise and comprehensive analysis of the data.

Impact on Regional Groupings

With the inclusion of new countries in our data model, the regional groupings used in our analyses will also be updated. This integration means:

  • Adjustments to Historical Data: There will be slight modifications to historical data based on these new regional configurations. These changes ensure that our historical data aligns with the current geographic coverage and provides consistency in your longitudinal analyses.

How This Benefits You

The latest updates bring several benefits, including:

  • Broader Scope of Analysis: With expanded country coverage, you can explore new markets and understand regional dynamics more effectively.

  • Greater Flexibility: The improved functionality of our data tables offers you the ability to toggle between aggregate and detailed views, enabling more tailored data exploration.

  • Consistent Historical Data: Adjustments to historical data ensure that you have a consistent baseline for comparative analysis as our country and regional frameworks expand.
