At Kpler, we are dedicated to providing our users with the most accurate and detailed data to empower your market analysis and decision-making processes. With this commitment in mind, we are thrilled to announce a significant update to our Iron Ore commodity tree, focusing on enhancing the granularity of Iron Ore Fines and Iron Ore Lumps classifications.

What's New?

Please note that these enhancements will be effective starting March 12th. we've introduced six additional grade categories under Iron Ore Fines and Iron Ore Lumps to more precisely reflect their Iron content. These new categories are segmented based on Iron content into Low (55.0%-60.0% Fe), Medium (60.1%-63.5% Fe), and High (>63.5% Fe) classifications. This update is designed to provide you with a more nuanced understanding of the iron ore market, enabling you to conduct deeper and more precise analyses.

Detailed Breakdown of the New Categories:

Iron Ore Fines:

Low: 55.0%-60.0% Fe

Medium: 60.1%-63.5% Fe

High: >63.5% Fe

Iron Ore Lumps:

Low: 55.0%-60.0% Fe

Medium: 60.1%-63.5% Fe

High: >63.5% Fe
